FDM Bowser of STHH - to be bred to - NMSR Fable of STHH (Fable)
Due Date: January 15th, 2026
This breeding will produce G5 pups, considered purebred Colorado Mountain Dogs. Fable brings height, beauty, and the gentle, nurturing nature that made her a perfect fit for service dog training. Bowser adds even more height, fewer dewclaws, a relaxed, go-with-the-flow temperament, and—if we’re lucky—those adorable eyebrows. We expect this litter to be exceptionally people-oriented, with puppies likely in white, cream, and brindle.
Fable is a G4 Colorado Mountain Dog with a soul as soft as her name suggests. Born from our beloved Artham—my heart dog—and carrying the calm grace of her mother, NMSR Marlo, Fable was gentle from the very start. She moves through the world with quiet empathy, offering comfort in a glance, calm in her presence, and a deep, steady affection to all she meets. With a natural instinct to nurture and an unshakable composure, Fable is now training to become a service dog—carrying forward a legacy of love, loyalty, and purpose.
FDM Bowser came to us from another ranch that recognized his potential and wanted to ensure his lines would be carried on. We are so grateful they entrusted us with him. Bowser is a G5 purebred Colorado Mountain Dog with valuable outcross lines.
I initially worried about the transition of bringing a grown stud into our pack, but my concerns proved unnecessary—Bowser fit in seamlessly from the very start. The moment he arrived, he headed straight into the goat pen to join his new best friend, Artham.
Bowser is gentle with every dog, cat, goat, or other animal he meets. On walks, his recall is excellent. While he loves his people, he is happiest out working alongside the goats. He is a thoughtful guardian, only barking when there is a true threat.
Beyond his wonderful temperament, Bowser’s dark, expressive eyebrows give him an especially animated and endearing look. He is truly a joy to have here at the farm.

FDM Bowser of STHH - to be bred to - TOF Nova of STHH (Nova)
Due Date: January 22nd, 2026
This litter represents the heart of the classic Colorado Mountain Dog—versatile, loyal, and gentle. These pups are bred to thrive as both devoted family companions and trustworthy livestock guardians. With calm, intuitive temperaments and a strong instinct to connect with their people, they are as comfortable snuggling on the porch as they are patrolling the pasture. We should see Cream, Black, White and Blue/Silver pups from this litter.
Nova – G2 Blue Colorado Mountain Dog
Nova is our most loyal girl. With her rare and stunning blue coat, she turns heads wherever she goes—but it’s her heart that truly shines. Always on alert, Nova rarely takes a break from watching over the homestead. She instinctively mothers the baby goats as they’re born and has been chicken-safe since day one. Fiercely devoted to her humans, she’s the first to the line when a predator comes near. Nova’s deep bond with her people and her unwavering sense of duty make her an irreplaceable part of our farm family.

FDM Bowser of STHH - to be bred to - T23 RiverJoy of STHH (River)
Due Date: January 31st, 2026
This pairing will produce G4 Colorado Mountain Dog puppies. River brings beauty, size, loyalty, and a quiet, gentle soul that makes her effortless in every situation. Don’t let her softness with people fool you—she’s a fierce guardian when predators are near, yet she greets every guest to the homestead with a wagging tail. Bowser adds height, clean legs, steadfast loyalty, and his signature goofiness. Both parents have a silky, flat coat that’s absolutely gorgeous yet wonderfully easy to maintain. Together, they’re expected to produce an excellent working litter and the kind of best-friend dogs kids dream about. We expect clean legs, brindles, and sables from this pairing.
